What You'll Do (Essential Duties and Responsibilities):
Act as the subject matter expert and primary contact on FMLA (and other leave programs) procedure and claims adjudication/administration.
Make leave and short-term disability claim determinations (approvals, denials) based on relevant medical information.
Appropriately route and coordinate appeals, complex claims and escalations.
Coordinate and organize all medical information, ensuring that HIPAA and employee privacy guidelines are closely monitored and followed.
Manage all systematic aspects of the company's leaves and claims program, including tracking the analytics for all cases, and keeping all relevant software systems updated.
Suggest program and process improvements as appropriate.
Assists in the creation and implementation of leave-administration and claims-processing training programs.
Provides continuous outreach to HR Business Partners (HRBPs) to review leave and/or claim status and develop strategies for furthering progress and resolution.
Perform other duties as assigned

What You'll Need (Qualifications):
Bachelor's degree is required, specialization in HR, nursing, or a related field is preferred.
Completion of FMLA/Leave administration certification (or desire to obtain certification) and experience with leave-specific software is preferred.
3 years of related work experience.
