Marketing Assistant
Ten Lives Club is looking to hire a part-time Assistant to the Marketing Team! We are looking for an outgoing, social media savvy professional willing to adapt to the fast-paced environment of a non-profit shelter. As a Marketing Assistant, you will work in close collaboration with senior marketing staff to aid in day-to-day marketing activities including creative content development, and content writing to drive qualified leads into sales, as well as assist in all aspects of event planning and execution. Our ideal candidate will be creative, a quick learner, and able to refine efforts as needed to maximize effectiveness. Other key factors are detail oriented, focused, resourceful, collaborative, goal driven, customer-oriented, and strong communication skills
Marketing Assistant must be/have:

- Education: College degree or comparable work experience
Marketing Assistant Responsibilities:
- Craft compelling social media posts and supporting content
- Assist in social media efforts to promote events, content marketing, and campaigns via established networks
- Interact comfortably and confidently with news reporters and other media outlets
- Assist in the creation of graphics for marketing materials including social media, advertisements, website content to communicate brand value as effectively as possible
- Research and collect lead data from our analytics sources to improve effectiveness of social media efforts in support of lead generation activities
- Must be comfortable interacting with small businesses for potential sponsorships/other marketing purposes
- Monitor website and social media channels for issues/problems; route internally as needed
- Assist in writing copy for website, social media, email marketing, press releases, and blog posts
This is a part time position working 20-30 hours a week. You will be scheduled to work some weekends and evenings, 5 hour shifts 4 days a week.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
