Qualifications:
- Secret Clearance or better to start
- Holds IAT-II Baseline Certification (satisfied by CASP or CISSP - otherwise Security or equivalent)
- IAT II Computing Environment (e.g. MCT, MCSA or equivalent within 6 months of hire)
Duties:
Possesses and applies expertise on multiple complex work assignments. Assignments may be broad in nature, requiring originality and innovation in determining how to accomplish tasks. Operates with appreciable latitude and in developing methodology and presenting solutions to problems. Contributes to deliverables and performance metrics where applicable. Duties may include:
- Perform Computer Security Incident Response activities for ECBC, coordinate with other Government agencies to record and report incidents as required
- Communicate alerts to supported agencies regarding vulnerabilities, intrusions, and compromises to their network infrastructure, applications, and/or operating systems
- Assist with implementation of counter-measures or mitigating security controls
- Assist DoD/Army cyber forensic experts in case of a breach in security
- Ensure the integrity and protection of networks, systems, and applications by technical enforcements and organizational security policies on classified and unclassified networks
- Perform Vulnerability Compliance and Reporting tasks to include:
· IAVA Enterprise and standalone system scanning using ACAS
· Targeted Remediation
· ISCM Compliance Reporting
· HBSS Compliance Reporting
- Perform software/hardware assurance functions to include:
· Software/Hardware Approval
· System Security Plan Life Cycle Management
· Standalone Approval Process
- Perform periodic and on-demand system audits and vulnerability assessments, including user accounts, application access, file system and external Web integrity scans to determine compliance. This includes ATCTS, Active Directory, and SIPRNet token management and compliance
- Prepare incident reports of analysis methodology and results
- Train/instruct users and personnel on DoD/Army and organizational Cybersecurity guidelines
- Evaluate STIG exception requests and assess organizational risk
- Perform as primary POC for all Cybersecurity support tickets
