Driver

Tender Care Centers of Fort Lauderdale is looking for a full-time experienced driver for our medically complex and fragile children. We are looking for a reliable, flexible, and experienced driver who is available to work day shifts Monday through Saturday.

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS:

THIS IS A SPLIT SHIFT POSITION STARTING AT 6AM TO 9:30AM (depending on traffic)

AND COME BACK AT 2:45pm PM TO 6:30PM (depending on traffic)

· Valid Florida driver’s license.

· No DUI on record

· No more than 2 moving violations or 1 fault accident in the past 3 years

· Be able to pass a level 2 background screening

· Pass drug screening at hire and at random

· Department of Transportation physical (every 2 years)

· CPR/First Aid Card.

. Pay rate $15 or $20 contract

· Required 2 online trainings & 1 hands-on wheelchair training. (done after hired) every 2 years.

• Load & Unload patients & their belongings
• Secure all wheelchairs prior to departure
• Ensure safe transfer of patients to and from the facility
• Maintenance checks on vans before & after routes
• Documentation of route information
• Reporting to Transport Coordinator
• Van washing duties

· MUST work 2 Saturdays a month.

· Medical benefits after 60 days and 401k, PTO and sign-on bonus after 90 days
