Job Posting for Child Care Assistant - Crawler Program at Tender Hearts Child Care & Learning Center, Inc.
Tender Hearts is seeking a full time aide for our crawler & toddler programs program (ages 1 to 2 years old) to join our team. This is a full time, 40 hour per week, year round position. Monday through Friday. Candidates must have High School Diploma (or equivalent). Prior experience in center based child care is preferred.
The ability to work well with in a team environment is important as is the physical ability to pick up children. Candidates must have excellent communication skills with team members and families.
It is very important that applicants be dependable, are able to support their fellow co-workers, and adhere to our dress code. We are conveniently located on Jefferson Blvd, near Rt. 95 in Warwick. Responsibilities:
- Work with the lead teacher and other assistants to provide a safe, caring, nurturing , and healthy environment
- Ongoing communication with parents and fellow team members
- Provide child care in accordance with DCYF regulations
- Assist team members as needed throughout the day
- Full time, Monday - friday
- 40 hours per week
- Year round position
- 20 Hours of professional development annually
