Nurse Manager

Tenet-Alabama is seeking a Med Surg Charge Nurse (RN) for a nursing job in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Job Summary:

To provide leadership and oversight of the nursing staff and operations for the assigned area. To ensure adequate staffing, supplies, and equipment are available. To assist in providing direct nursing care to patients in the assigned area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership and Management: Provide guidance and direction to nursing staff to ensure high-quality patient care and efficient operations.
• Staffing and Scheduling: Ensure adequate staffing levels and schedules are in place to meet the needs of patients and the organization.
• Supply Chain Management: Oversee the procurement and management of supplies and equipment to ensure availability and cost-effectiveness.
• Patient Care: Assist in providing direct nursing care to patients in the assigned area, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.

Requirements:

• Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Preferred: Academic degree in nursing (bachelor's or master's degree).
• Experience: 1 year of RN experience in specialty area.
• Certification: Currently licensed, certified, or registered to practice profession as required by law, regulation in state of practice or policy; CPR.
