General SummaryMaintain efficient and safe operations of all equipment, machinery and building facilities to support the DRIV manufacturing plant, or ensures manufactured parts are within compliance standards. This Team Member is a subject matter expert that completes duties of an advanced technical and/or mechanical nature that require specific training, licenses or certifications. Notify the Operations Supervisor of any occurrences that negatively impact production. Adhere to safety, health, and environmental guidelines.

Addendum: Specifics for Area Worked
CNC
- Plan machining by studying work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, materials, specifications, orthographic drawings, reference planes, locations of surfaces, and machining parameters; interpreting geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T).
- Plan stock inventory by checking stock to determine amount available.
- Program mills and lathes by entering instructions, including zero and reference points; setting tool registers, offsets, compensation, and conditional switches; calculating requirements, including basic math, geometry, and trigonometry; proving part programs.
- Load feed mechanism by lifting stock into position.
- Verify settings by measuring positions, first-run part, and sample workpieces; adhere to international standards in completing assignments.
- Maintain specifications by observing drilling, grooving, and cutting, including turning, facing, knurling and thread chasing operations; take measurements; detect malfunctions; troubleshoot processes; adjust and reprogram controls; sharpen and replace worn tools; adhere to quality assurance procedures and processes.
