Corporate Communications Specialist

We are seeking a Corporate Communications Specialist to support North America. The Communications Specialist will be responsible for managing the day-to-day execution of the corporate brand initiatives as directed by the NA lead.
The team is ready to act immediately on those candidates who are the best fit for the role. You’ll first hear from someone in Talent Acquisition to schedule a phone screen, and then the next step will be a personal interview with our Hiring Manager. The holder of this position will add valuable depth and breadth to the existing team in the day-to-day execution of DRiV communications initiatives targeting customers, suppliers, employees, prospective employees and the media. The corporate communications specialist will support a range of internal and external communications and provide content development, writing, project management, event management and other support. Strong technical writing, story development and proofing skills are imperative, as is a willingness to be flexible and manage multiple projects with a sense of urgency. The successful candidate can expect to be mentored and challenged to develop and learn new skills, while at the same time supporting some day-to-day tasks associated with the effective running of a corporate communications function.

Representative responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Plan, develop, write, gather images for and publish stories around our Corporate brand (internal and external placements)
- Identify and draft content for company intranet, including Global News stories, read by employees around the world
- Coordinate with outside providers the translation of key internal communications documents into multiple languages for dissemination and more effective communications with employees around the world
- Assist in the development of a global content calendar and dashboard to help the team capture and track collective progress on editorial opportunities across a range of communications channels and audiences
- Draft product and brand press releases, internet content and blog posts as required
- Research and write posts for company social media pages to ensure a steady cadence of appropriately branded content and consistent company voice
- Update and maintain corporate overview presentations, fact sheet and other templated content utilized by employees to uphold consistent corporate identity standards throughout the company
- Develop targeted list of media publications and regularly monitor same for relevant stories on company versus competitors
- Take photographs and short video clips as needed to help illustrate stories generated by the team
SKILL & EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in corporate branding or corporate communications team
- Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a dynamic team.
- Detailed-oriented, pro-active, self-driven person who is able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast paced environment.
- Self-driven, fearless interest and curiosity in new and established communication methods, technology and markets, along with a healthy disrespect for the impossible.. Mirosoft Office (Word, Excel. Powerpoint).
