Also, there is a 401(k) with an enhanced contribution and matching program. Rate of pay for a Prototype ECM Operator starts at $27.82 per hour and progresses to $28.82 an hour after 90 days.
The primary focus of The Prototype ECM Operator is to ensure that pistons complete the Electro Chemical Machining (ECM) process to product specifications. That entails making sure that all components of the process are running to specified process parameters, while possessing the ability to do a reasonable level of troubleshooting to correct the process. Employee will have the ability to set up ECM machines to perform the necessary operational and quality checks. All positions are responsible for contributing to a safe work place and minimizing negative environmental impacts by complying with the EHS policies, procedures, and work instructions outlined in the training assessment for this position.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Setup, Change over and operate the ECM operations ensuring that the systems perform to specified parameters.
- Operator must also be able to Perform Quality Checks on all assigned operation with documented evidence of compliance.
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance on the systems to keep them in operational shape at all times.
- Complete 5S activities as assigned.
- Read and Interpret blueprints to ensure the correct process is followed.
- Operator must be able to repair mask as needed.
- Ability to understand chemical handling procedure to ensure that all plant policies are followed.
