We have an opening for 2 Graduation Analyst 1 at Southwest Tennessee Community College campus!

This is a full-time position working under the general supervision of the Registrar. The Transcript Analyst is responsible for evaluating incoming college transcripts. He/she may travel between the two (2) main campuses (Macon, Union) and site locations. May be required to work some evening and weekends as needed.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Evaluates college transcripts of transfer and readmitted students, determines what credit should be given for courses taken at Southwest and other institutions; and updates Banner.
  • Assists with registration functions.
  • Updates course equivalencies in Banner
  • Answers questions concerning admissions requirements and transcript evaluations.
  • Responds to staff, faculty and student inquirers concerning transcript evaluations.
  • Answers telephone and gives information to callers or routes calls to the appropriate officials.
  • Collects daily numbers on productivity.
  • Assists with commencement functions.
  • May perform other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university.
  • Knowledge of college functions.
  • Must have the ability to understand and interpret college policy.
  • Must have the ability to research course related information independently.
  • Must have experience with Microsoft Excel, Work, and Outlook.
  • Must be organized and possess the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Must have the ability to evaluate situations and make decisions.
  • Must have the ability to express ideas clearly.
  • Must have the ability to perform administrative and clerical tasks.
  • Must have the ability to establish and maintain an effective working relationship with students, staff, faculty, and the general public

 

  • Physical demands include the ability to sit and talk or hear; ability to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms; ability to occasionally stand, walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds; specific vision abilities required by this job include vision, distance vision and ability to adjust focus.

 The Salary Range for the position is:     Commensurate with the College's pay
