A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A WAREHOUSE BARREL TECHNICIAN
You're at the heart of our operations, ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of materials and products throughout our location. Your daily duties encompass a wide range of tasks, from skillfully operating forklifts to meticulously documenting inventory movements. You're the key player in loading and unloading trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, or dollies, and also taking on the physical task of loading and unloading empty barrel trucks by hand. You also fill barrels by hand in accordance with our production schedule, and you use your forklift skills to expertly flip and stack barrels. Following work orders, you're responsible for safely dumping barrels.
You're an essential part of our team, responsible for maintaining a clean work environment, running pressure washers when required, pulling samples from selected products using hand tools, and loading/unloading tankers. Your ability to operate TDG-owned vehicles on and off campus for work-related matters makes you an indispensable team member. Each day brings new challenges and opportunities, and you tackle them with precision and dedication, ensuring that our warehouse operations run seamlessly!
QUALIFICATIONS
- Forklift experience
- Ability to work overtime, including some weekends
