What are the responsibilities and job description for the Treasury Sr. Analyst position at Tennessee State Veterans Homes Board?
•Manage and perform all required operations to ensure the timely availability of financial resources in line with Company actual needs in cooperation with Group Treasury and in alignment with Manager and the US CFO.
•With support of Manager, coordinate cash management functions for all US operations including daily cash position, transactions, deposits and disbursements, factoring and letter of credit transactions
•Provide direction to the Cash Disbursement Manager for payment execution
•Cooperate with Accounting in the day to day activity and in month end close tasks such as reconciliations, reporting, and analysis.
•Troubleshoots, analyzes, provides and implements solutions to issues, reconcile account differences and identify areas to improve efficiencies via automation to reduce or eliminate manual processes.
•Responsible for meeting month-end, quarter close, and year-end activities. Adapt priorities and plans to address resource and /or operational challenges.
•Works on ad-hoc projects as assigned within finance and may provide additional support to the Accounting team when warranted.
Requirements/Skills:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business required
• Continued education, certification or licensing is preferred
• 3-5 years of experience in Treasury
• Drive to take initiative and to improve processes proactively
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a high comfort level interacting with peers and executive-level management.
• Strong organizational skills; must be detail oriented
• Strong financial acumen and analytical skills
• Experience with SAP is preferred
• Able to quickly understand and apply business judgment to evolving business processes and data requirements.
• Ability to configure and analyze complex data sets and provide appropriate recommendations to management teams.
• Ability to prioritize, organize, complete multiple tasks and accurately handle a high volume of work
• Ability to work independently and within a matrixed organization.
• High attention to detail with excellent judgment and problem-solving skills.
• High level of efficiency in Excel spreadsheets to include pivot tables and vlookups
• Ability to find cost savings and efficiencies and communicate recommendations back to the business
• Willingness to train and educate others
• Strong collaboration orientation, with experience spanning various functions and levels.
