The Tennessee Titans are seeking a strategic and service-minded accounting and finance professional to support the business, football and stadium functions and promote cross-functional collaboration. The Accounts Payable Coordinator will be a member of the Finance department, reporting directly to the Accounting Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Daily input and routing of incoming invoices in Mineral Tree accounts payable software.
- Administer and maintain the accounts payable module, including statement reconciliation and resolution of accounts payable discrepancies.
- Research and respond to inquiries from vendors and internal departments on account status.
- Ensure timely payment of approved expenses, including preparation of weekly outgoing payments for management review and approval.
- Setup all new vendors and maintain vendor records.
- Complete and submit credit applications as needed.
- Prepare and maintain vendor 1099s, submit annual reports.
- Execute unclaimed property process, submit annual reports.
- Prepare monthly reconciliations as assigned.
- Assist in audit requests as needed.
- Other duties to support management and finance team as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma required. BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting/finance role.
- Computer skills and knowledge of relevant software tools, including Microsoft Excel.
- Prior experience with NetSuite general ledger and Mineral Tree accounts payable software preferred, but not required.
- Organized, proactive, and detail oriented.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively interface at various levels within the organization and with external vendors.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic and ambiguous environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills, with proficiency in speaking and writing.
- The ability to act responsibly and ethically when working with sensitive financial information.
