GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS

• Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable processes including entering daily invoices/bills/journal entries/monthly accruals
• Ensure vendor invoices and check requests are paid in accordance with authorization and approval policies and follow up on invoices not approved
• Reconcile all bank accounts
• Reconcile balance sheets, analyze accounts and resolve any issues in a timely manner
• Preparing federal, state, local, and special tax returns
• Responsible for researching, registering and compliance for all state and local tax requirements
• Research nexus requirements and compile sales tax/use tax information and prepare tax returns if necessary
• Coordinate month-end and year-end closing activities to ensure timely reporting
• Create, plan and prepare financial models and other ad hoc reporting as requested
• Evaluate workflow processes and procedures to develop, recommend and implement procedural and system changes to increase accuracy and efficiencies

We are looking for an efficient Accountant to undertake a variety of finance-related administrative duties for our thriving start-up. You will facilitate daily finance functions, like keeping track of employee and company expenses, managing transactions, and supporting the leadership team with any finance-related issues. Your role involved performing tasks with a focus on details and accuracy. The ideal candidate will have a broad knowledge and experience of working within the finance department as well as general administrative responsibilities. This person will be able to work autonomously and efficiently to ensure the end-to-end running of finance-related operations. To succeed in this role, you should have adequate experience working in a finance department.

Teqball USA, LLC is a professional sports club organization that focuses on promoting the sport of Teqball within the United States whilst having professional teqball athletes on their roster who compete in major competitions and tournaments.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
