The Functions and Private Event Manager will be responsible for overseeing set-up, execution and breakdown of private events at Teresa's Italian Eatery in Middleton and The Crystal Ballroom in North Reading. This individual ensures that all specifications listed within the Banquet Event Order are met. This manager oversees a team of severs, bartenders etc. assigned to a given event and reports directly to Director of Events. This position will average 30 hours per week.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 2 years experience in event sales/management or equivalent relevant experience
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and results-oriented approach to client relations
  • Knowledge of event common practices and procedures
  • Solid knowledge of fine dining steps of service
  • Confident in their ability to troubleshoot and act quickly should issues arise mid-event
  • Ability to self-supervise
  • Weekend availability

Bachelors degree preferred
