Purchasing Supervisor

Teresian House, is currently hiring a Purchasing Supervisor. We are a large non-profit, Catholic faith-based nursing facility in Albany, NY. Service to our residents includes unsurpassed hospitality in a home-like atmosphere catering to people with long-term care needs, rehabilitation needs or specialized memory care needs. The Purchasing Supervisor opportunity consists of working Full Time Monday-Friday.

This position is responsible for all Purchasing functions, including procuring supplies, creating & maintaining vendor relationships, ordering, receiving & inspecting deliveries, delivering of packages and supplies, maintaining par levels of stock items, and maintaining accurate inventory. Responsibilities also include accurate computer record-keeping of all supplies and requisitions.

SKILLS:

• Motivated individual with some basic business, accounting, and/or purchasing related experience.
• Skills with various computer software is required.
• Lifting up to 50 lbs with or without reasonable accommodation on a regular basis
• Team mind-set.
• Supervisory experience helpful.
