Managing Director of Business Strategy

Essential Responsibilities
- Lead the development and oversee the execution of TERI’s strategic marketing plan and operational priorities in alignment with the organization's local and regional strategy and vision
- Proactively identify and explore new revenue opportunities for the organization to maximize its impact and deliver on its mission, including creating and developing programs, campaigns, projects, and partnerships
- Lead the development and implementation of the annual microbusiness operating plan, including defined priorities and goals, budget distribution, and analysis of results and performance
- Regularly evaluate the progress, impact, and budget outlined for the marketing and operational departments, and partner with departmental leaders to develop action plans, effectively manage the budget, rethink approaches, when necessary, remove barriers, and maximize results
- Ensure robust operational and financial processes as well as compliance with all regulatory requirements
- Create executive reports and present them to the leadership team
- Act as a mentor and leader, supporting alignment among departments and ensuring high performance of each team
- Help develop TERI’s microbusiness brand identity and position the organization as a leading provider of memorable, world-class food, beverage, and hospitality experiences
- Develop and maintain effective relationships and partnerships with external stakeholders
- Act as a TERI representative to strengthen its brand and communicate its vision, mission, and objectives
- Adhere to all organizational policies and procedures
- Perform any other duties assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of five years of progressively responsible professional experience in a non-profit environment as a development professional.
- The ability to set very specific performance goals and to work, often independently, to achieve those goals.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize projects.
- Computer literate with emphasis on presentation software applications.
- Strong written and oral communication skills that demonstrate correct grammar usage, syntax, and format, with ability to make oral presentations.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to interact with all levels of the organization, Board members, volunteers, parents, business leaders and community donors.
- Available to work non-traditional hours, including evenings and weekends.
Other Qualifications: DOJ and FBI criminal clearance required, and must receive a negative marijuana/drug screen, and a minimum 3 years acceptable driving history.
