Terminal Supply is a leading national distributor and manufacturer serving the MRO and OEM industries with a focus on electrical products and wire harnesses. We are currently seeking a full-time Purchasing Administrator to join our team. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, supporting our inventory management and purchasing processes.
Order, process, and assist in maintaining stock for inventory at all locations
Coordinate material acquisition for special orders and internal harness production
Match order acknowledgements with placed purchase orders to ensure accuracy
Manage vendor relationships to optimize delivery schedules and expedite shipments
Follow up with vendors to ensure timely delivery and resolve any shipment issues
Assist in maintaining of costing systems while also reconciling any discrepancies
Provide shipment dates for all ordered items to facilitate scheduling and planning
Work to maintain department goals and expectations set by Purchasing Management
Requirements
Experience in purchasing, procurement, or a related field
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently
Proficiency in processing information to make effective decisions
