Job Description
EPG’s Salt Lake and Phoenix offices are growing and in need of an entry-level landscape architect/designer to assist with an exciting variety of projects and services that include resort hospitality, housing and single-family planning, community master planning, high-end residential, downtown economic development and plaza designs, parks, trails and open space, design guidelines and vision plans, and environmental and restoration projects as well as leading and managing all types of development projects. We are looking for someone that communicates well, works in independently and in teams.

This position will pay a signing bonus and salary based on the candidate’s overall qualifications, skills and proven resume of work.
Essential Roles and Responsibilities:
- Lead safety efforts for the team and ensure the team follows safety rules and guidelines. Be responsible for creating and modeling a safe work environment; demonstrates safety practices.
- Assist with development and workflow of construction drawings, graphics, and deliverables associated with our design and planning work.
- Assist with development of standard details; templates; planting, and irrigation, material, and layout plans for design and construction drawings.
- Promote continuous quality monitoring and improvement on projects. Monitor quality standards and practices with your team.
- Develop understanding and be aware of project-related risk. Be familiar with what could go wrong on a project and how to protect the Company.
- Assist with conceptualizing the initial design and/or investigative approach for projects in collaboration with the project manager and studio team.
- Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture.
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable violation history.
Must be familiar or proficient with the following programs:
- LandFX
- AutoCAD
- Lumion
- Adobe products
- Microsoft products
- Revit knowledge and experience would be a plus
Terracon has a robust benefit and rewards plan that includes 3 weeks of paid time off as well as a 6 percent 401K match. We will pay you $72 a month to help offset the cost of your cell phone. Terracon is 100 percent employee-owned and you will receive company stock through your 401K match.

Salary Range: $50,000/year-$70,000/year
