Job Description
General Responsibilities:
As a field technician, you will collect data and compile test results and field notes into basic reports. Typical projects include water quality sampling, soil sampling, indoor air quality testing, and testing residential and commercial properties for asbestos, lead, mold, and radon. At times, you will oversee subcontractors on job sites. Depending on the project size, you will close or remove heating oil tanks and perform other clean-up projects primarily independently. The majority of the work is done outdoors and requires physical labor. Communication with clients and team members is essential, and a strong work ethic and positive attitude will always be beneficial. Typical responsibilities will include: Field sampling and data collection and compiling notes into basic reports Routine maintenance of field equipment Assist with clean-up/abatement projects Subcontractor oversight and management Assisting project managers in various ways Required Skills: Willing to accept a flexible schedule to get work completed per client needs. Must have the ability to recognize and mitigate safety concerns Must be able to communicate with coworkers and clients effectively Must complete required training quickly.

- Other national, regional, state, and local environmental related certifications requiring experience and written examination will also be considered if deemed appropriate by the Terracon Department Manager.
