Business Systems Analyst

Position Summary

Terrasource Global is seeking a skilled Business Analyst with a minimum of 4 years of experience to join our IT team. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, excellent communication skills, and bridges the gap between business needs and software solutions. Experience with ERP systems and business knowledge is essential for the success of the Business Analyst role based in St. Louis MO.

Responsibilities include the following:

• Extensive knowledge of ERP with functional experience in Sales, Distribution, Manufacturing, and Finance - JD Edwards 9.2 is a plus
• Strong understanding of business process and information systems
• Demonstrate leadership skills
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and document business requirements
• Analyze existing processes and systems to identify critical business needs
• Partner with the business and IT stakeholders to find actionable solutions
• Develop project plans, timelines, and milestones
• Design, build, test and implement enhancements and projects
• Recommend improvements in business process and system setup to gain efficiency
• Translate business needs into clear and concise requirements
• Configure ERP with out of the box solutions to meet business requirements
• Test solutions and coordinate user acceptance testing
• Document and train users on new functionality
• Provide end-user support and troubleshoot issues
• Build trusted relationships with users and communicate effectively with cross-functional departments to maintain positive interaction
• Work independently and collaborative as a team player
• Provide additional support with 3rd party software: Reports Now, DSI and Tidal
• Provide daily IT Support to the business by resolving trouble tickets ranging from training questions to critical time-sensitive situations
• Provide IT Support to Projects that include enhancements, upgrades, new module installations and system roll-outs to new acquisitions
• Currently Upgrading from JD Edwards 9.1 to 9.2

Education

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field and a minimum of 4 years related experience.

Travel

Employee may be required to travel up to 20% of the time to support periodic project and implementation activities.
