SUMMARY
Manages all gaming activity on a day-to-day basis to ensure the integrity of table games and poker room. Will resolve issues and respond to guest concerns as they arise. Will assist other departments as a leader on the gaming floor when gaming or guest relations issues arise. Exercises good judgment in managing the operation of all games, within the limits of established policies and procedures.

Responsible for the daily operations and administration of table games and poker.
Serves as point person for other operational departments within the casino to help resolve customer service issues and other concerns and problems.
Assists with the assessment and cutoff of beverages to intoxicated patrons throughout the casino.
Responsible for training, supervising, scheduling and evaluating all Table Games employees.
Addresses, resolves and documents all conflicts that may arise during gaming operations.
Ensures all customer service standards are adhered to.
Actively builds good interdepartmental lines of communication.
Monitors and adjusts table minimums and maximums according to business demands.
Investigates all table game discrepancies and provides written follow-up.
Oversees all aspects of gaming activity that transpires on a particular shift.
Ensures that all Indiana Gaming Commission regulations, internal controls, Title 31 compliance and standard operating procedures are adhered to.
Monitors all procedures governing the opening and closing of games and shift change.
Monitors and revises opening and closing of games to maximize profitability.
Observe and modify game spreads and pricing of games to maximize profitability.
Distributes, collects, balances and reconciles the Card and Dice Storage Room on a daily basis. Investigates all discrepancies and communicates findings.
Oversees the operation of the poker room.
Authorized to issue comps in accordance with the approved comp matrix.
Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or GED required. Associates degree in related field preferred. Minimum of 2-3 years as an Assistant Shift Manager or higher or related supervisory experience required.
LANGUAGE ABILITY
Ability to read, analyze and interpret internal controls, governmental regulations, technical procedures and financial reports. Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, employees, customers and the general public.
MATH ABILITY
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume. Ability to work with and apply mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical theory.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to solve practical problems.
COMPUTER SKILLS
Must possess intermediate PC skills. Microsoft Office experience required.
CERTIFICATES AND LICENSES
Must be able to obtain and maintain appropriate licensing from the Indiana Gaming Commission.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversees daily supervision and operation of all table games on assigned shift. Ensures team members carry out duties in accordance with all applicable regulations.
