POSITION OVERVIEW:
Repair/Remodel/Maintain the Company properties and equipment in the stores, taverns, restaurants, casinos and offices by performing the following duties using tools ranging from common hand and power tools, such as hammers, drills, wrenches, saws, electrical meters, ladders, etc.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The following and other duties may be assigned as necessary:
- Performs daily technical remodel and repairs to ensure that the physical condition of the property does not deteriorate.
- Dismantle/Demo to gain access to and remove defective materials/parts and bring property back to Company/Project standards.
- Assists in the installation of equipment resulting from special projects as assigned.
- Performs regular inspections of stores/venues and informs supervisor of any problem areas.
- Installs major equipment to required specification and standards.
- Diagnoses major equipment and building problems and examines solutions for repair.
- Maintain parts and supplies needed for job completion and accounts for appropriate levels.
- Paint, repair roofs, windows, doors, floors and other parts of building structures.
- Skilled in Demo and Remodel work to include Ceramic/Stone floor and wall tile work.
- Minor electrical/plumbing repair/replacement.
- Skilled in Concrete and Carpentry.
- Diagnose equipment problems and determine how to correct them as necessary.
- Records maintenance repair/remodel work performed and the costs of the work by completing the SWO’s in a timely manner.
- Completes transfer forms for accurate inventory part counts and proper allocation.
- Assist Service Supervisor in cost control efforts.
- Assist with various duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Some maintenance related trade school preferred.
- Must have a minimum of three (3) years’ experience, preferably in construction/remodel.
- Valid driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record.
- Must possess good electrical, mechanical and diagnostic skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot medium to complex mechanical/electrical problems.
- Ability to drive a service vehicle safely.
- Ability to perform the four basic arithmetic operations (add, subtract, multiple, divide).
- Ability to work with various hand and power tools.
- Ability to interact with store personnel, customers, and management in a professional courteous manner.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as operating and procedures manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to work flexible hours such as weekends, on-call, evenings and holidays.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Ability to operate a forklift and pallet jacks with proper training
- Basic computer skills.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to read and communicate verbally in English. Written communication skills in in English may also be required.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Employee must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state and local regulations.
