Responsibilities
Terros Health is looking for professional and dedicated Children's Therapist for our 27th ave Location!
*** New Hire Sign On Bonus: $2,000 if not licensed: $3,000 or $5,000 if licensed (cannot be a temporary license). ***
Full-Time
Monday - Friday 7:30am - 4:00pm
Experience working with children preferred
Bilingual in Spanish is a PLUS (Additional Language Differential is Available)
Excellent Compensation
The Therapist is responsible for providing outpatient counseling services which may include assessments and counseling for children, adolescents, families and groups. Provision of services will occur out of the office in a school-based setting or other place of service.
Responsible for intakes, assessments, treatment and discharge planning, individual, family and group counseling, and family support services and case management. This position charts progress, maintains clinical records and ensures implementation of treatment and discharge plans. Monitors and follows up on client needs, does re-assessments as required or as needed, and submits weekly and monthly service reports as required or needed. Coordinates services as necessary working in collaboration with various State, Federal, and local agencies. Provides oversight to Behavioral Health Technicians and paraprofessionals as required. Services are provided according to all licensure, state and federal laws, and TERROS Policies and Procedures. May sign off on non-licensed staff’s work (Due to licensure).
- Provides client-centered outpatient clinical services to individuals/ families using evidenced based practices.
- Adheres to program guidelines.
- Participates effectively as a member of a team in assisting eligible individuals and families meet their needs.
Must be willing to travel to different locations for work

Qualifications
Education/Experience:
- Masters degree, i.e., MA, MC, MSW, in a behavioral health field, Arizona license or eligible for Arizona license.
- Preferred- One year of experience practicing in one of the following licenses a LAMFT, LMFT, LAC, LPC, LMSW, LCSW.
Possess effective verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to establish professional working relationships.
Must have the ability to perform first aid or cardiopulmonary resuscitation as necessary and appropriate.
Training in DBT, or EMDR, or other Evidence Based Practice preferred
- Must have a valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance card (Level 1) or apply for an Arizona Fingerprint Clearance card within 7 working days of employment.
- Must have or obtain a valid Arizona Driver License, be 21 years of age with a minimum 4 years driving experience. Must meet requirements of Terros driving policy
- Bilingual desired but not required.
