Job Summary:
- Produce mechanical and electrical drawings from sketches, check prints and information provided by others
- Research information from reference sources and assist with the design process
- Dimensioning and revision control
- Interact with internal departments; Engineering, Test and Production
- Recommends alterations to development and design to improve quality of products and/or procedures.
- Develop drawings for electrical systems using AutoCAD
- Review shop drawings and assist with general production services and production schedule
- Able to simultaneously organize and successfully execute multiple project responsibilities
- Perform all other duties assigned
Requirements
Education/ Experience:
- High school diploma and AutoCAD work experience or certification
- At least 1-2 years experience
- At least 1-2 years AutoCAD experience
Skills/ Knowledge:
- Possess good communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to interact with all levels of management, clients, and vendors
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Basic understanding of power distribution and control logic
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, familiarity with AutoCAD Electric software
- Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access)
- Knowledge of Adobe Acrobat
Training Requirements:
- Tesco Controls,. general safety requirement training
Physical Demands:
- Light physical effort equal to frequent lifting or moving of lightweight materials
Work Environment:
- Work performed in an office environment
- Work performed in production/ manufacturing environment
