The In-Line Quality Technician will be responsible for inspecting for complaiance of product and escalating with any issues found which includes classiying defects. Other responsibilities include dispositioning material, 100% in station inspections and line side sorts. Developing relationships with other cross-functional departments to drive disposition of parts and evaluating the concern versus the return.
- Systematically marking parts that could be special interest for expedited return to Engineers and Quality Technicians
- Maintain data integrity, accuracy, and efficiency of defect material throughput and systematically logging information
- Provide data input and output reports to assist in driving improvements
- 100% Inspections and support corrective actions based on defect reason
- Disposition defect material and sort material if needed
- Maintain 5S in station
- Ability to maintain a safe working environment
- Ability to familiarize with the MRB & FX database systems

Technical background and troubleshooting knowledge and working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Work, and Excel
- Strong communication skills and ability to build strong partnerships across various organizations within Tesla and must have command of the English language, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and keep on task in a fast-paced environment without direct supervision
- Must be detail orientated, reliable, have good initiative, determination, and quality focused
- Ability to perform repetitious duties while standing for long periods of time and ability to lift up to 50 lbs
