Tesoro Group is seeking an experienced Property Manager with affordable housing experience for 2 properties in St. Paul and Inver Grove Heights. These properties are affordable housing and Senior Living with a total of 110 units. This role is open and immediately interviewing. This position is Contract to hire - 3 months/90 days.
The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of affordable housing experience with section 8/tax credit or other LIHTC properties. This position works with low in-come housing and senior living, so previous compliance experience is required!
Assistant Property Manager Duties and Responsibilities
- Collect rent and other payments
- Inspect the property for damages and schedule routine maintenance
- Manage all property personnel
- Maintain and update a property record
- Document expenses, invoices, receipts
- Maintain a positive relationship with renters and tenants
Property Manager Requirements and Qualifications
- 1-3 years of property management or related experience - experience in affordable housing is required*
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal property regulations
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and property management software preferably Yardi
- Organized and able to create multiple timelines, budgets, and schedules
- Excellent communication skills
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $23.00 - $24.00 per hour
