What Will You Be Doing?
Ensure proper distribution and behavior of all Frontier fare products. Set forth coding conventions in host reservation system and fares clearing house to achieve desired fare functionality. Participate in communication between Pricing, Revenue Management, Sales, Distribution, E-Commerce, Marketing and Corporate Communications with respect to fare filings, promotions and contracts. Assist in all pricing and fares management systems as guided by team.
Essential Functions
- Create fare rule filings to support revenue strategies as developed by Pricing and Revenue Management
- Drive Frontier sale strategy by providing price point and rule/restriction recommendations that align with market performance, support Marketing by packaging sale fares into advertising-ready units
- Ensure that fares are pricing correctly in each distribution channel
- Problem-solve reported pricing issues (.com, res, GDS, OTA) with guidance from more senior team.
- Ensure ATPCO and host reservation system fare and rule filings are in sync
- File and maintain specialty fares, including group, government, loyalty and nonrevenue
- Implement sales and promotions; provide Marketing team with terms and conditions
Other Functions
- Assist Strategic Pricing Analysts with fare filings and market management as-needed
- Look for ways to improve use of pricing and analysis tools
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; combination of relevant education and experience considered in lieu of degree
- Proficiency in ATPCO fare filing functionality, rule and footnote coding a plus
- Proficiency with major GDS shopping/pricing commands preferred
- Experience with Navitaire, SkyFare/SkySpeed preferred
- Experience with fare management software such as Architect Sabre AVFM or SITA Airfare Insight preferred but not required
- Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
