What are the responsibilities and job description for the Chef position at Testllc?
We are looking for an experienced Chef to prepare appetizing dishes and ensure meals are served on time. You will be required to learn our culinary style, as well as participate in tastings and training sessions. You will also be required to follow specific recipes and keep a detailed inventory of food and supplies. As a Chef, you must possess a passion for food and cooking. We expect you to be innovative and have a willingness to learn new skills, recipes and cooking methods. In the end, your goal is to successfully manage our restaurant operations, making sure all food is cooked according to company standards.
Responsibilities:
- Design, purchase and prepare meals from scratch.
- Create a budget for ingredients and manage the inventory of food items.
- Manage staff, organize menus and schedule shifts.
- Create nutritious and appetizing meals for customers that meet dietary requirements and preferences.
- Prepare meals in accordance with standard procedures, using equipment like stoves, ovens and mixers.
- Ensure safety standards are met and maintain a clean workspace at all times.
- Train new employees on preparation techniques and recipes.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
