What are the responsibilities and job description for the IT Technician II position at TETER, LLP?
At TETER, our IT Team plays an essential role ensuring that our staff of 100 architects, engineers and administrators have the technology they need in order to deliver exceptional designs to our clients. Working alongside our IT Manager, the IT Technician II provides technical support to users across five offices and varying remote locations. In order to have immediate access to the firm's resources and network, the IT Technician II will be required to work in-office.
The IT Technician's primary responsibilities skills will include:
- Troubleshoot and repair networked computers, printers, scanners, etc. in a multi-office network
- Basic understanding of Teter Technologies: Azure Active Directory, Citrix Cloud Desktop Environment, Office 365 Administration, Autodesk Products (Revit and AutoCAD)
- Basic user management: creation, password resets.
- Basic printer maintenance and support, including plotters.
- Software installation, maintenance and troubleshooting.

REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS
The successful IT Technician will support staff throughout the firm, develop a thorough understanding of the firm's project management processes, and maintain composure in the midst of an emergency. We find that this requires the following education, experience and qualifications:
- Education - Associate's degree in information technology, computer science or a related field. Bachelor's degree is a plus.
- Experience - 2 years providing hands-on computer support in a professional office environment.
- Customer Service - Proven history of successfully supporting 100 staff members
- Commitment to Learning - A constantly changing IT field requires a commitment to staying current in IT technology.
- Communication - Must possess exceptional communication, problem-solving and interpersonal skills, and be willing to follow up by phone, email or in person.
- Fast-Paced Environment - Ability to effectively prioritize demands and multitask while maintaining attention to detail.
- Integrity - Must possess honesty, humility and good judgment.
- Organized - Must be very organized with the ability to manage multiple documentation efforts.
TETER has adopted a hybrid work model with staff in office Tuesday through Thursday, and able to work remotely from home on Mondays and Fridays.
