Tetra Tech’s commitment to hiring the best talent in the industry and helping them thrive professionally is stronger than ever. We are seeking CADD Drafter in support of our Denver, CO operations.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review civil/structural/electrical engineering design drawings for a variety of energy projects including, but not limited to renewable energy facilities, pipeline infrastructures, HV transmission, substation and distribution infrastructures and other industrial and commercial facilities.
- Perform/manage drafting work throughout the entirety of the project lifecycle.
- Support the development of conceptual and detailed designs for renewable energy facilities.
- Participate on companywide employee groups dedicated to the growth of our Modern Energy and Renewable Energy practices.
- Support design and permitting for project needs set forth by the project managers or other design and engineering professionals.
- Other duties may include preparing reports and presentations, preparing and optimizing standard details, CAD design, and 3D modelling.
Requirements:
- Minimum of Associates degree of completion in CAD drafting or related field from a technical trade school
- Minimum of 2 years of drafting and design experience using latest versions of either Civil 3D or Revit
- Preferably uses higher-level commands, time-saving programs and routines.
- Experience using advanced Autocad functions, including Sheet Set Manager, Xref Manager, Tool Palettes and Design Center preferred.
- For Revit users, experience using Revit view templates, worksets, and working on collaborative models preferred for Revit users.
- For Civil 3D users, experience using Civil 3D to generate profiles, creating and manipulating surfaces, using pressure pipe networks
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work as an effective team member.
- Must be able to exercise independent judgement and work to achieve generally stated objectives and requirements.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Microsoft Project).
- Strong and creative problem-solving ability.
- Self-motivated and driven with an entrepreneurial spirit.
- A valid driver's license and clean driving record is required for this position.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record without restrictions.
Compensation:
- Salary commensurate with experience.
- Salary Range: $ $70,000 - $110,000 yr.
