Qualifications:
Take your technical experience to the next level. We’re looking for a PM with these qualifications:
- Professional registration (PE) preferred.
- Additional professional registrations will be considered (i.e. – PMP, PG, etc.).
- Strong technical background with project management experience, program management experience is a plus,
- Exceptional leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills, with a high-level of self- awareness and emotional intelligence,
- Proven record of building and leading teams that solve complex problems,
- Willingness to listen, learn, and apply new skills,
- Initiative to build own career and success,
- Identify and nurture strategic joint venture and small business partnerships.
- Effectively collaborate and network with other Tetra Tech Operating Units to offer agencies the best available resources,
- Assemble and lead teams to effectively and efficiently pursue and win work, and complete projects on time and within budget and regulatory guidelines,
- Leading proposal efforts from pre-solicitation to final submittal including oral interview and rate negotiation,
- Develop and implement growth strategies to increase client base for a broad range of integrated environmental consulting and engineering services.
- Due to the projects that this role will participate in, US citizenship is required; and,
- In association with the Tetra Tech Major Client Leads; develop, implement, and support robust growth strategies to increase the sales for USACE, USAF and NAVFAC for a broad range of integrated environmental consulting and engineering services.
- Existing relationships with USACE, USAF, NAVFAC and Interagency & International Services are a big plus for this position.
Education & Experience:
- BS degree in Civil or Environmental engineering is required. Advanced degree is preferred.
- At least 25 years of experience in engineering, project management, environmental compliance and planning, environmental liabilities and remediation, asset management.
- Program management experience of federal programs is a plus.
- Prior experience consulting with a federal agency, such as USACE, USAF or NAVFAC.
- Additional experience with commercial clients and other federal markets (EPA, DOE, DOI, Commerce, etc.) a plus.
Senior Project Manager/Program Manager role will coordinate Task Order/Project Managers and provide programmatic guidance, direction, and coaching. As Program Manager you will be responsible to meet or exceed client expectations, achieve projects schedules, maintain budgets, achieve, or exceed profit, maintain quality, and ensure that work is performed safely.
