Your Role:
Our Bloomington, MN office is seeking a highly motivated Wetland Biologist who will support wetland field surveys and reporting efforts for projects in the upper Midwest.
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
- Wetland desktop assessments.
- Wetland field survey leadership.
- Report preparation and wetland permit application preparation.
- Daily interaction with project teams, clients, subcontractors and regulatory agency staff is expected.
- Assistance with other environmental due diligence and compliance tasks is also anticipated.
Qualifications:
- Must have 1-3 years of environmental consulting or related experience.
- Minimum 1 year of experience leading wetland delineation teams.
- Must possess strong analytical, organizational and communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Proficiency with GIS/GPS preferred.
- Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing workloads.
- This position requires you to be able to drive with no restrictions and pass a motor vehicle background check.
Educations/Skills:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Biology, Ecology, Soil Science, Hydrology, Environmental Science, Natural Resources, or related degree.
- Wetland delineation certification preferred.
- The ideal candidate must be highly motivated, client focused and work well in a team environment.
- Excellent client interaction and organizational skills, as well as proficiency with MS Office applications, including Word and Excel, required.
