We are seeking a highly organized and dedicated candidate to join our team as a Tax Associate. The ideal candidate should possess strong organizational skills, and a commitment to providing superior client service. Tax Associates will work with small business accounts, tax return preparation, financial statement auditing and reporting. Description:
- Provide tax compliance and consulting to a diverse base of clients.
- Meet with business and community contacts to maintain and grow a network within the local market.
- Prepare accounting-related reports through a paperless office environment.
- Gather relevant tax-related information from the client so an accurate tax return can be prepared.
- Work with the tax team to ensure various components of the tax process are performed, including tax preparation, tax planning, client interaction, and performing special tax projects.
- Attend professional development and training seminars on a regular basis.
- Assist with Auditing, and Cost Segregation as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
- Applicants should be proactive and client service oriented.
- Effective communication skills and professionalism.
- Able to operate in a paperless workplace and have strong computer skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, and CaseWare.
- Previous experience desired but not required.

Salary : $65,000 - $75,000
