Licensed Practitioner of the Healing Arts - Full Time Evenings - Crisis Center
Role Responsibilities
Under the direct supervision of the Crisis Center RN Manager, the LPHA performs clinical activities including independent assessments and service interventions as directed by the recovery plan and/or identified client needs. In coordination with the RN on duty, and the psychiatrist, determines eligibility for admission to the Crisis Center (involuntary extended observation unit and voluntary crisis residential unit.) This position may provide assessments, crisis intervention, skills training, case management, case monitoring and psychotherapy in the Crisis Center. Monitors client progress with treatment goals to determine effectiveness of interventions until goals are achieved. Actively participates in client staffings to determine best treatment for recovery. The position provides care to individuals with a mental illness and/or a co-ocurring substance use/abuse diagnosis along with individuals with a dual diagnosis of mental illness and intellectual or developmental disability. Reports directly to the Crisis Center RN Manager. Works a 40 hour work week , Mon – Fri, 1pm – 9:30pm, with flexibility to meet program needs. As a member of the Crisis Center residential team this position is considered essential staff and are expected to work during emergency events. Responsible and accountable for the adherence to and promotion of the compliance policy.
