Essential Duties and Responsibilities Assists Supervisor with daily operations. Ensures that deadlines are met. Maintains records of delivery for incoming freight. Utilizes SC Logic program to scan, record and process all incoming freight. Coordinates deliveries of packages to departments. Conducts research and contacts vendors regarding missing shipments as needed. Coordinates and prepares electronic items for recycling program. Responsible for ensuring items are palletized, shrink-wrapped and weighed in preparation for vendor loading. Coordinates delivery requests related to document destruction. Ensures labels are accurate and approved as required by Record Retention guidelines. Responsible for coordinating equipment transfers to and from departments. Generate work orders as required to ensure items for transfer and/or deletions are obtained from requesting department. Coordinates and assist Property Management with inquires on inventoried surplus items. Must know how to utilize heavy equipment including, but not limited to, forklift and shrink wrap machine. Maintains loading dock and equipment. Lifting up to 50 pounds may be required. Minimum Requirements Education – High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience – Two years of related experience in receiving, storing, and issuing a variety of materials, supplies, and equipment or warehousing experience. Knowledge of – Knowledge of accounting principles. Knowledge of inventory systems. Knowledge of forklift operations. Ability to – Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others. Licensing / Professional Certification – Forklift certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment. Physical Requirements – Ability to lift heavy objects.
