What are the responsibilities and job description for the Office Assistant position at Texas Door & Trim?
The Office Coordinator performs tasks that assists customers and Texas Door and Trim staff in overall daily operations. This role provides support to sales, purchasing, and other departments to ensure customer satisfaction with duties that include, but not limited to, answering phones, data entry, tracking parts and service orders, office upkeep, and other general office management needs.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Answer incoming phone calls, determine purpose of call, and transfer to appropriate person or department, take accurate messages and deliver to appropriate person or department.
- Greet walk-in visitors and aid or direct as required.
- Sort orders, consolidate, update production schedule boards and operational communication paper. Process according to SOP’s.
- Manage warehouse, interior and exterior excel file daily
- Input window and door install into the D/I Smartsheet
- Shipping and production follow up with outside sales as requested
- Performs other duties as required and requested.
