About the Position
This is an exciting opportunity for an employee who is eager to learn, analytical, and dedicated to join our Inside Sales team at our Georgetown, TX location as a Pricing Analyst. The Pricing Analyst will be one of the individual contributors on a growing team that will assist in areas such as quote management, competitive assurance, freight analysis, and supplier diversity. The hours for this position will be 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM.
What are the key responsibilities?
- Responsible for scheduling and execution of RPP's to source electric utility products and evaluation of supplier quotes within the strategic direction of the Company.
- Ensure all stock material has a quote loaded in planning systems, consolidation of quotes, and management of quote expirations.
- Compare market intelligence vs stock quotes to maintain a competitive advantage in the open market.
- Review product/brand comparisons and facilitate collaboration with the Sales staff for approvals.
- Report monies spent on inbound/outbound freight.
- Ensure stock material has multiple supplier sources approved.
- Review and compare supplier lead time data vs system lead time data, update system lead times, and collaborate with Sales staff on current lead times.
- Responsible for initiating blanket purchase orders and management of the review periods before release of blanket materials.
Qualifications:
- Business/Finance/Supply Chain/Supply Chain Management degree preferred
- Knowledge and experience with supply chain concepts preferred
- Excellent communication skills, both external and inter-departmental
- Eager to learn with a strong ownership of tasks
- Analytical thinker who reviews work and checks for accuracy of assignments
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to stand, sit, bend, pull, twist, push, and pull for sustained periods of time
- Able to operate a computer and other office machinery using finger dexterity for typing and writing
- Must be able to communicate, converse with, and exchange information by means of the spoken word
- Able to perform physical effort to lift or move materials up to 50 pounds at times
- Visual acuity to view a computer screen
