Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree Computer Science, Information Technology, or Business required (4 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree required.
Experience
- 3 years of Salesforce Marketing cloud development experience to include: - Experience implementing Marketing Cloud functionalities including AMP script, JavaScript, SQL, automation studio, landing pages and journey builder - Experience with Agile software development methodologies & sprint/scrum processes required
License/Certification
- Salesforce Marketing Cloud upon hire preferred.
Position Responsibilities: The Developer Salesforce Marketing Cloud II position will develop solutions on THR's enterprise Salesforce Marketing cloud platform, duties including but not limited to partnering with marketing business product owners to identify and address business pain points, perform design, and build solutions on Salesforce marketing cloud, estimate effort on prioritized requirements, identify and share recommended solution approach and coordinates execution within the team using agile development methods. For established solutions the developer ensures continued product buildout as well as ensures timely resolution of bugs and issues elevated by the business operations teams.

Responsible for designing and developing solutions on THR Salesforce Marketing cloud platform that will include configuration, development, integration, customization, and support of the THR enterprise Salesforce marketing cloud environment, including but not limited to: Email Studio, Journey builder, Contact builder, Ad studio and other THR salesforce marketing capabilities.

Design, build, and maintain reliable, efficient, and reusable code following best practices on salesforce marketing cloud.

Provide technical expertise to the team and ownership of solutions implemented on Salesforce Marketing cloud.

Develop the best solution possible to business problems.
-
Provides feasibility analysis of solutions.
-
Helps with solution design of business requirements and works with software engineers and architects to prioritize business requirements.

Drives effort estimation or story pointing of business requirements.
-
Committed to delivering high quality, high value, maintainable software in the hands of users quickly by working side-byside with business partners, Service partners and other developers.

Attends all scrum events as required or needed.

Supports and strengthens technical knowledge base across the Salesforce program

Responsible for business requirements, customer journeys, prototyping, configuration, testing, training, and defining support.

Plan, develop, and execute marketing campaigns.
-
Participate in change management efforts to implement better practices, new processes & improvements in overall performance.

Segment audiences and optimize campaigns to increase effectiveness.

Hands-on development for dynamic content projects related to email.

Responds to on-call outages as necessary. Diagnosis of failures encountered in application software and related technologies; Participation in the resolution of problems and issues associated with installed applications and related information technologies.

Participates in the Change Management Board activities as appropriate.

Participates in a fast-paced agile scrum team.

Participates in the evolution of team best practices, standards and policies.

Works largely self-directed, with only appropriate guidance from leadership.

Responds to customer issues in a timely manner.

Assists in communications with customers, project team and vendors in a timely manner and escalates issues and risks appropriately.

Monitors work progress, informing team leaders, team managers and/or customers of project status, problems or obstacles and workload issues in a timely manner.

Provides timely and accurate status reports.

Enters work time appropriately and on time into the ITS application systems.

Performs other duties as assigned.
Skills

Ability to accomplish projects within specified deadlines.

Ability to effectively interface with technical and nontechnical staff at all organizational levels.

Knowledge about Agile Project management methodology.

Experience with JIRA and ServiceNow Service Desk tools a plus.

Understandings of the capabilities of the Salesforce Marketing Cloud application.

Integration with salesforce and other third-party tools.

Understanding of data sources and synchronized objects and fields.
-
Experience with SQL, Data Modelling, Data Analytics & Data Unification processes.

Proficiency in HTML, CSS & JavaScript.

Skilled problem solver with the drive to follow issues through to completion.

Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and a customer-friendly attitude. Must be comfortable communicating and supporting employees at all levels of the organization.

Self-motivated and ability to work independently, as well as part of a team, on multiple projects.
