About the Job
Texas Instruments (TI) is looking for a detailed and results-oriented individual to become a part of our global Information Technology team as an IT Product Lead. If you would like to lead a high-energy, dynamic team tasked with solving difficult business challenges with high impact, this position may be for you.
In this role you will:
- Lead a project team and take ownership of all phases of project lifecycle including: analysis, requirements, design, test planning and execution, validation, business and IT user training, business readiness, and metrics
- Lead execution with business partners, IT leadership and establish strong working relationships with multiple stakeholders across the company.
- Develop and build an in-depth domain knowledge in key applications, business processes and functional areas supported by the team.
- Build partnerships with key stakeholders in Marketing and Business organizations.
- Help guide team on architecture, code reviews, and development best practices.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and developments and analyze existing operations to identify improvement opportunities and schedule training sessions and meetings to discuss improvements.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Technology, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems or related field of study
- 8 years of experience in software development or system integration and application lifecycle management or project management.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience designing/developing highly interactive web applications with performance, scalability, accessibility, usability, design, and security in mind.
- Strong, clear, concise verbal and written communication skills and presentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a highly impactful environment.
- Ability to lead a team and collaborate effectively with people in different functions and regions.
- Ability to perform risk analysis and develop mitigation plans.
- Demonstrated ability to build and sustain strong, influential relationships.
- Project management experience using agile development methodologies.
- Proven experience influencing opinions and gaining consensus.
Technical Abilities:
- Solid software development background including deep understanding of design patterns, algorithms, data structures, object-oriented design, system optimization.
- Experience in leading / managing full-stack web development projects and associated technology stacks (Java Spring boot, SQL, FE web frameworks).
- Familiar with code repository management (Git / bitbucket), agile project management and issue tracking (Jira) to effectively manage projects.
- Familiarity with DevOps automation (build, deploy, test) using Jenkins or other automation tools is a plus.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
