Position: RN Unit Supervisor
Location: Bethlehem, PA
Shift: Full-Time (37.5 hrs/week); Every other weekend; Holiday rotation

Job Summary:
This position provides leadership and direction to our short-term rehabilitation unit, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and staff accountability. The role is akin to managing a Med/Surg unit, with patient stays up to 15 days. The RN Unit Supervisor is key to the day-to-day operations of the unit and must lead by example, upholding the values and mission of HFSL.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Oversee nursing care and operations of the rehabilitation unit
• Implement and maintain high standards of patient care
• Supervise and evaluate staff performance, providing guidance and mentorship
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives
• Manage patient care plans and monitor patient progress
• Address and resolve any issues related to patient care or staff performance

Job Qualifications:

• Current RN license in PA
• 5 years of experience in Med/Surg or Rehab LTC/STR or hospital unit
• 3 years in a nurse supervisory role with proven leadership skills
• Wound care experience highly desirable
