What are the responsibilities and job description for the Factory Assistant (Printing) position at TEXAS POLY, dba Tejas?
The Printing Assistant is a pivotal role on our factory floor. This position includes preparation of film prior to printing, cleaning procedures, managing anilox sleeves, plates and blades used in the flexographic printing process. The press assistant ensures the cleanup, storage and availability of accessories needed to perform the printing process with high quality. Reliability and commitment are an essential part of this role, along with attendance and punctuality. Factory and or printing experience is a plus, but we are willing to train applicants with a positive attitude. There is an opportunity for promotion for applicants that show initiative, willingness to learn and work hard.
Schedule may vary according to workflow, but currently 7am-430pm Monday through Friday, overtime paid at time and a half for hours worked in excess of 40 hours per week.
