Production Operator
A Global Carpet Manufacturer is seeking a career-oriented Production Operator for their Southside location in San Antonio. The ideal candidate will be cross-trained to operate various machines. The Production Operator will be responsible for feeding carpet fibers into a machine to create the finished product as quickly and efficiently as possible. This position works 4 days a week (Monday-Thursday), with occasional overtime on Fridays. Day and Night Shifts available, no rotating shifts.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operate various machines - training provided.
- Cross-train in various tasks.
- Load raw materials into the machine using proper safety precautions.
- Unload material from the machine and ensure the finished product is up to production quality standards.
- Quality inspections of product to ensure product integrity.
- Warehouse maintenance and housekeeping.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to pass background check and drug test.
- Must be able to lift minimum 20lbs.
- Must have reliable attendance.
- Must wear steel toe shoes.
- Must be able to stand for 8-12 hours a day.
- Must be able to climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, walk, and stand for long periods of time.
- Willingness to learn how to operate new equipment.
SCHEDULE:
Day shift:
Day shift:
- Monday-Thursday.
- 6am-430pm.
PAY RATE:
- $14/hr.
- Pay increase in 3 months..
Night Shift:
- Monday-Thursday.
- 4pm-230am.
PAY RATE:
- $15/hr.
- Pay increase in 3 months.
BENEFITS: – after 3 months
- 401k.

- Paid time off, Holiday Pay.
