Performs central accounting and financial analysis functions according to established procedures.
Bachelor's degree and 1 year of experience OR combination of education and experience to equal 5 years.
- Performs high-level, detail-oriented data analysis and reporting supporting MPIP financial performance improvement initiatives.
- Prepares monthly MPIP, clinical department and Business Office dashboards and reports requiring advanced Excel knowledge under the direction of the MPIP Business Office Managing Director.
- Identifies and recommends improvement opportunities through the analysis of billing and claims data.
- Prepares ad hoc report requests.
- Assists staff in resolving complex billing issues. Oversees medical billing clearinghouses and maintains high rates of clean claims.
- Performs routine fee schedule maintenance to ensure charges and contracted insurance rates are accurate.
