As a Senior Advisor - Recruiting, you will use active and passive recruiting techniques to search for applicants to fill vacant positions. Also, working with departments to develop strategies for current and anticipated vacancies. This position provides guidance services regarding routine and complex issues. Work is preformed under general supervision in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Everyday you will provide support and collaborate with departmental hiring managers, administrators, and search committees to fill open positions at Texas Tech University
- You will engage with departments to understand their business needs and then develop recruitment strategies
- You will actively and strategically recruit, active and passive applicants, for open positions, to develop well-qualified and diverse applicant pools
- You will review and edit job postings for understanding, to maximize results
- You will work with external agencies and recruiters to identify applicants
- You will provide guidance and assistance to applicants to ensure understanding of job functions
- Assist management with development of recruitment information and materials
- Represent Texas Tech University at job fairs and other external events
