The Creative Manager position presents an exciting opportunity to take on a leadership role within our company and put your experience and knowledge to the test. You will play an essential role in the success of our Credit Union’s message both internally and externally.
As a Creative Manager, you will:
- Report to the Director of Marketing while developing marketing collateral that effectively and distinctively promotes Texell Credit Union's brand and product offerings to our various audiences.
- Be responsible for growing brand awareness for the Credit Union and participating in multiple projects as necessary.
- Lead the internal and external creative agency(s) to develop and execute on-brand and differentiated campaigns across all marketing channels. Leads the creative planning and development process from concept to completion and guides the creative team. Ensures projects are compliant, completed on time, and within budget.
- Manage a creative team of designers, copywriters, video editors, and content producers. Help prioritize their work and lead the team from ideation to execution.
- Support the messaging, content, and copywriting needs of product marketing managers and internal stakeholders to support their business units.
- Act as a thought leader by continuously identifying opportunities to improve the credit union's marketing and brand awareness.
- Manage vendor relationships.
- Perform other functions and special projects that might be needed from time to time and assist others in completing tasks and work assignments.
We need you to have:
- A college degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, or Communication. Equivalent work experience with required knowledge and skills may be substituted for a degree.
- Five or more years of similar or related experience, which includes time spent in preparatory positions, project, and staff management experience.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Strong presentation skills and the ability to effectively present to management, staff, established and prospective members and vendors.
- Problem-solving ability and ability to recognize and implement process improvements.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Integrity, team spirit, and the ability to work in a dynamic environment (a snappy sense of humor wouldn’t hurt either).
