We are looking for full-time Family Preservation Support Worker to add to our team! All you need is a high school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of two years of experience in in family-based service delivery. Demonstrated commitment to supporting families and children, either through relevant coursework, volunteer work, or personal experiences. We will teach you the rest!
A Day in The Life as a Family Preservation Support Worker
As a Family Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in assisting Therapists with ensuring the well-being and safety of children in their home environments. You will be responsible for teaching vital skills including emotion regulation, fostering healthy relationships, conflict resolution, and effective communication within families. Collaborating within a team, you will also help access resources, strategize plans, and advocate for the improvement of individuals' quality of life.
What We Are Looking For
We are looking for someone who is Compassionate and eager to learn with a strong desire to assist families in times of crisis, helping them build on their strengths for enduring, healthy relationships. We want someone who is committed to connecting families with community resources to enhance their lives and an innate drive to support children's growth, learning, and the development of healthy family dynamics. Must have a the quality to advocate for the rights and well-being of children and their families.
