Site Supervisor

Overview:

Site Supervisors are responsible for the leadership and management of the operation of a convenience store and fuel station to ensure a clean, pleasant and friendly environment for customers and employees alike. They must be able to provide prompt, friendly service, handle all customer requests and complete all in store duties in a timely and efficient manner, while ensuring maximum sales and profitability of their location.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional customer service including cashier duties, food handling and fuel dispensing. Be courteous, always greet, and thank all customers.
• Recruit, hire, train and supervise store personnel.
• Be knowledgeable and adhere to the all company policy and procedures, and ensure all store personnel do as well.
• Restock shelving, displays and coolers as needed.
• Ensures proper execution and sanitation of all food handling programs and procedures.
• Maintain interior and exterior cleanliness and organization of facility.
• Promote store's buy2 concept and make upsell suggestions.
• Generate weekly work schedules.
• Perform all daily and weekly bookkeeping and reporting duties.
• Prepare and submit weekly product orders.

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

• Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
• 1 years experience in retail management
• Must be available to respond to emergencies at any time
• Report to work promptly, neatly groomed, and in uniform
• Keep work area neat, clean and organized.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A positive approach in a busy working environment

Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to stand, walk, bend, and twist; use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects and controls; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, or crouch; and talk and hear. Must frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 65 pounds. Environmental conditions include heat, cold, allergen, noise, and fume/chemical/odor exposure from gasoline and cleaning chemicals.
