Contracts Administrator

Position Summary
Thales is looking for a Contracts Administrator who will report to the Director, Portfolio Management. He/she is responsible for managing Booking & Setting up for orders for invoicing, Open & track equipment orders, Setup & monitor commercial invoicing, WAWF (Wide Area Work Flow), Monitoring Imports inbox, GFE/Customer owned equipment, Book & Bill monthly reports, Processing & monitoring USG shipment requests and other DoD forms.
In this position, you will coordinate with other contracts departments and program management personnel for overall process improvement and execution.
Key Areas of Responsibility
- Lead PM interactions for the project via direct peer interface
- Facilitate interactions between contracts, PMO and finance
- Negotiate the amendments in the scopes of the contract in keeping with company rules and process
- Handle change requests
- Cultivate and maintain strong partnerships with decision-makers across functional organizations (Procurement, Supply Chain, Quality, Engineering, Technical Publications, Manufacturing, Logistics and Ops Finance) to build and continuously improve process to ensure high quality, on-time delivery and ownership/accountability
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related and appropriate field of study with a minimum of 1 or more years of relevant work experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Capacity to work in an international and multicultural environment
- Experience managing scope and requirements autonomously
- Experience with PM tools – Confluence or equivalent, JIRA or equivalent, MS Excel
- Must be a U.S. Person as defined in applicable law, or otherwise authorized or eligible for authorization, to access to hardware, software, technology or technical data controlled under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
