Position Summary
Thales requires a Project Manager to manage significantly large projects encompassing complex IT, EMV Chip Card personalization, Specialized Data-processing and Fulfillment elements. As Project Manager you will work independently and with team members in disparate geographic locations and provide leadership throughout the project life cycle as single point of contact between internal teams, customer teams and other partners.
Key Areas of Responsibility
- Assess and analyze customer requirements
- Has sufficient knowledge of Thales services, solutions, products and technologies to skillfully recommend appropriate Thales solutions – during sales cycle as pre-sales consultant and during project cycle as project manager
- Negotiate and qualify most efficient technical design with Thales Technical Teams to address customer need
- Able to influence and convince customer technical stakeholders for acceptance of Thales’ Technical Solution and Product Offering.
- Identify resources needed and assign responsibilities for project deliverables encompassing IT, technical and fulfillment services aspects.
- Review and manage quality control of deliverables before delivery to the customers
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications or related discipline
- At least three years of proven technical development experience in EMV Card Personalization environment
- Current PMP certification preferred
- Demonstrated Project Management experience successfully delivering projects on- time, within budget, and in scope.

Special Position Requirements
Schedule: First Shift, 8AM-4PM Monday through Friday.
Travel: As needed (about 5%)
Customer Location Based or Site Visits: If required.
